TrashArt at the 9th Anemotia Viticulture Festival
Art, the natural environment and creativity met in Anemotia, Lesvos through another local action of TrashArt. As part of the 9th Anemotia Viticulture Festival (August 16–18, 2025), an experiential blueprint workshop for children was organized on Sunday, August 17, from 10:00 to 12:30.
Creative cyanotyping for children
The children got to know the technique of blue printing and created their own works using sunlight, natural materials and recycled papers. The action was implemented by the zero-waste artist Gioula Koutsoumbou, connecting artistic creation with environmental awareness in a direct and playful way.
The project in the communities of Lesvos
TrashArt’s presence at a local celebration allowed the project’s results to reach beyond the direct participants in the international activities. Children and families came into contact with an art form that harnesses natural light and connects creativity with the environment, within their own community.
