The carpenter’s tools

The carpenter’s equipment consisted of tools which operated manually. The main ones were saws, rasps, drills and more. Carpenters had their own workshops, where they made the furniture while also worked in constructions, undertaking the wooden constructions.

Today

Today, the profession of the carpenter has evolved over the years as technology has helped with the means it provides. In Lesvos there are many carpenters maintaining their own workshops and employing human resources.
