The Market Square is located above the Church of Holy Mary. An extremely traditionally picturesque area, with paved and metal pergolas loaded by creepers bridging the surrounding lanes. In the middle of it there is a deep-rooted plane tree and offers its shady dew to the patrons.
You can find many shops around the central square with local products like meat, cheese, “loukoumades” (which is a form of traditional round donut balls) etc. or you can relax for a coffee or an old-fashioned “kainari” (exclusively local-produced herbal tea) at the many traditional cafes like Kafentaria, Loukoumades by Diamanto or find more here.
